Keshia Sexton

Keshia Sexton is the Director of Organizing for the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, helping create parks, gardens, and recreational spaces in traditionally underserved communities. Ms. Sexton graduated from CSUDH in 2008 with a degree in Africana Studies.

Born and raised in Los Angeles County, Ms. Sexton works tirelessly to improve the social, economic, and environmental conditions of low- and moderate-income communities. She has served as the Senior Field Representative for U.S. Congress member Karen Bass, as well as being Lead Organizer at the Community Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment. Ms. Sexton is a member of the Baldwin Hills Conservancy. She is currently a part-time professor in CSUDH’s Masters of Social Work program.
