Preventative Support (health screenings)
Resource Request Self-harm Substance Use/Abuse
Extreme/sudden changes in behavior
The Toro CARE team works alongside faculty, staff, and students to address student behavior requiring multiple responses while at the same time balancing the needs of the student with those of the greater Cal State Dominguez Hills community.
What Happens After a Referral is Submitted
Toro CARE staff may contact the individual who filed the referral to discuss the concern or obtain additional information.
The referral will be reviewed and assessed by staff members.
Student will receive an outreach email/call with an invite to meet with a staff member.
Student will meet with a Toro CARE staff member.
In collaboration with the student, a plan will be developed.
